Terms of Use
Effective July 7, 2026
1. Who we are
Tendlore is published by Volarra ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Tendlore desktop application for Windows and the tendlore.com website. Questions: hello@volarra.com.
2. The license you're buying
Tendlore is sold as a one-time purchase. Your license is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app on the Windows PCs you personally use, within one household. It is not a subscription: the version you buy keeps working, and updates within the same major version are included. We may offer future major versions as paid upgrades; we will never move core functionality you paid for behind a subscription.
Don't resell, share, or publish your license key, and don't attempt to circumvent the licensing mechanism. We may revoke a license if the purchase is refunded, disputed, or fraudulent — your data files remain yours and readable regardless.
3. The trial
The free trial is fully functional for 90 days from first launch, for personal evaluation. After it ends, the app becomes read-only: everything you saved stays viewable and exportable; editing requires a license.
4. Purchases and refunds
Checkout is processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time; the price you pay is the price shown when you buy. Because the 90-day trial is the try-before-you-buy, purchases are generally final — but if something's wrong, contact us and we'll be reasonable.
5. Your data
Everything Tendlore stores lives in plain files on your own computer. We have no access to it, no copies of it, and no ability to delete it. Backing it up is in your hands — the app makes that a one-click operation and will gently remind you.
6. Not professional advice
Tendlore provides general homeowner education. Playbooks include safety warnings and "call a pro" boundaries, but they are not a substitute for manufacturer instructions, licensed trades, local codes, or your own judgment. You are responsible for the work you choose to do on your home. If in doubt, hire it out.
7. Warranty disclaimer & liability
The app and website are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim related to Tendlore is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
8. Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted on this site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
